GoForward Final Conference in Kaunas, Lithuania

The event provided an opportunity to reflect on the achievements and lessons learned throughout the project, share experiences from the piloting activities, and discuss how the results can continue to benefit Ukrainian women beyond the project’s lifetime.

The conference highlighted the importance of bringing together Ukrainian women, community organisations, education and training providers, support services, public authorities, employers and businesses to create sustainable pathways towards social inclusion and labour market participation. Participants had the opportunity to exchange perspectives, discuss the challenges faced by Ukrainian women when accessing employment, education and support services, and explore practical ways to strengthen cooperation between different stakeholders. The discussions underlined that long-term integration requires not only individual skills and opportunities, but also inclusive communities, accessible services and strong networks of support.

A key highlight of the conference was the presentation of the GoForward e-learning platform, a new digital resource available in six languages. During the event we also presented the recommendations developed through the GoForward project, based on the experiences, findings and lessons gathered throughout the project. These recommendations aim to provide guidance for stakeholders and contribute to the continued development of effective support measures for Ukrainian women after the project comes to an end.

By sharing knowledge, strengthening partnerships and making project resources available to a wider audience, GoForward aims to ensure that its results continue to create value and support Ukrainian women in building their futures.

A big thank you to all 85 participants, partners, speakers and stakeholders who contributed to the event and to the success of the GoForward project!
