LITHUANIA
Social Innovation Fund SIF
(Project coordinator)
Non-governmental and non-for-profit entity
Established in 1994 to assist people with fewer opportunities and disadvantaged backgrounds to make positive changes in their life through the provision of educational opportunities, social support, information and advice. To ensure its mission SIF works closely with various networks and business enterprises. During 30 years of operation the SIF has implemented more than 150 European, national and international projects in the following directions: social inclusion and employability, promoting entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship, social inclusion of immigrants, gender equality, digital education practices, capacity building for trainers and learners using e-learning digital transformation, sustainable development.
The SIF has great experience in assisting people having fewer opportunities to be integrated into the society and the labour market, including migrants. The SIF has coordinated and participated as partner in a number of European and national projects directly addressing the migrant issues, improving their competencies and skills and helping them better integrate into the labour market and society.
LITHUANIA
JITL School of Stylists
Private company
Was based in 2013 and licensed by the Ministry of Education, Science and Sports of the Republic of Lithuania. At present, the in the equipped premises of the stylist school in Vilnius and Kaunas provides an opportunity for all those who wish to acquire a wide range of hairdressing, manicure, and cosmetology specialties. For beauty professionals, it offers continuous training in practical workshops and demonstration seminars of professional cosmetic brands. JITL has qualified teachers and trainers, who constantly develop their competences during national projects. Since 2020, JITL Beauty School for Stylists has been empowering people who have fled the war in Syria and Ukraine to learn new skills by offering training in a language they understand, education and comprehensive support to integrate into the labour market.
CYPRUS
Center for Social Innovation CSI
Research/education institution
CSI works closely with governments, local government agencies, non-profit agencies, businesses and educational institutions to address market, social, economic and cultural challenges. CSI has the capacity and capability to identify societal needs, design and implement tailored initiatives and projects, and ensure sustainable growth, drawing on its extensive expertise and experience in successfully completing more than 200 funded projects. CSI focuses on improving the quality of life for all and uses social innovation to achieve social justice, address systemic challenges and develop solutions that can provide opportunities for individuals and organisations. CSI has experience in entrepreneurship, migrants’ and refugees’ integration into labour market, developing training methodologies, and adult education.
ROMANIA
Center for Promoting Lifelong Learning CPIP
Non-governmental and non-for-profit entity
CPIP works in Lifelong Learning since 2005 and is committed to mainstreaming the principle of equal opportunities for all citizens in the public policies and associated practices, as an integral part of democratization and the creation of an open society, to re-define the status of community coproduction in all areas related to lifelong learning. CPIP supports initiatives aimed to increase social inclusion of immigrants to the labour market and society. CPIP team is used in working in multicultural contexts with partners all-over Europe and in several cross-cutting areas. CPIP has relevant for the Go Forward expertise, gained in different projects related to learning opportunities in financial and economic literacy the migrant women for social and labour inclusion through entrepreneurship, eliminating discrimination, promoting interculturalism, integration and social inclusion by empowering and up-skilling a group of people who have direct experiences of migration.
GoForward
To ensure the effective implementation of innovative educational-social Model, the diverse range of associated partners are involved, including CCS businesses (4), Community centres and NGOs (2), Public development and education institutions (2), and 1 Public Employment Service. The associated partners have declared their willingness to support the development of the project as its operation is matching the strategic objectives of the associated partners’ organisations.
Thus, the project benefits from expertise, networks and resources which the associated partners bring motivation by the reel-life examples, consulting on the relevant learning materials development, practical steps of Ukrainian Women integration into the labour market and local communities, dissemination.
