We are pleased to announce the completion of the “Successful UA Women in CCS” e-learning platform, a key digital result of the GoForward project. The platform was developed to support Ukrainian women in exploring opportunities for self-employment in the Cultural and Creative Sectors (CCS) and to help them build the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to turn their ideas into concrete opportunities. It is part of the educational-social Model “Successful UA Women in CCS”, which combines motivation, learning and social support.
Developed in Moodle, the e-learning platform brings together four complementary learning modules: the Motivation Workshop “Innovation Solutions in CCS for Ukrainian Women”, the e-Studio “Women’s self-employment in CCS – how to be successful”, “Ukrainian Women’s Day”, and the e-Toolkit for facilitators.
A central part of the platform is the e-Studio, which includes four Nano Open Online Courses (NOOCs) focused on key competences for entrepreneurship in the cultural and creative sectors: cultural awareness and expression, entrepreneurship principles, digitalisation opportunities, and recognising opportunities for self-employment. Each NOOC contains short, interactive video sessions with voice-over and self-checking activities.
The platform also includes an assessment process, allowing learners to evaluate their skills before and after the learning experience. Upon successful completion, learners can receive the digital badge “Success in CCS – I can do it”.
To make the learning experience accessible to women from different backgrounds, the e-learning environment has been developed in six languages: English, Lithuanian, Romanian, Greek, Russian and Ukrainian. The learning materials include interactive resources, videos and activities designed to support self-study at a time and pace that is convenient for each learner.
The platform also features stories and examples of Ukrainian women in the Cultural and Creative Sectors, helping learners connect learning with real-life experiences and possibilities.
These resources cover areas including Music & Performing Arts, Audio-visual Arts, Design & Fashion, and Artistic Crafts & Beauty.
The e-learning resources will also support the project’s piloting activities and remain available as a free self-learning resource, contributing to the long-term sustainability of the project results!
